To amuse his staff, family and friends, Don wrote ‘The Accidental Houseguest,’ which begins with a parody of the recruiting industry. This evolved into a satirical action-adventure-romance novel, mocking the IRS, FBI, DEA, drug dealers, the flamboyant Miami lifestyle of the rich and famous and just about everything else.

Besides writing, Don likes to watch movies and play pool and chess with his grandchildren, whose life ambitions are to beat him. He enjoys traveling with his wife, Eunice, to various places around the world, preferably on cruise ships. He still drives his Dodge Viper with the Performance Driving Group at Homestead-Miami Speedway and Sebring International Raceway. As Don always says, ‘It’s a great life if you don't weaken.
